టికెట్ రేట్లు భారమై, కామన్ ప్రేక్షకుడు రాను రాను థియేటర్ కు దూరం అవుతున్నారు. అయినా కూడా భారీ సినిమాకు ఎవడికోసం వస్తాడు అన్నట్లుగా వందల కొద్దీ రేట్లు పెంచేస్తున్నారు.
వైఎస్ జ‌గన్ ప్రభుత్వం హయాంలో టికెట్ రేట్లకు కాస్త కళ్లెం వేసే ప్రయత్నం చేసారు. రీజ‌నబుల్ పెంపు తప్ప అబ్ నార్మల్ పెంపు అన్నది లేదు. ఇలాంటి టైమ్ లో ప్రభుత్వం మారింది. ఇక తమ ఇష్టం వచ్చినట్లు రేట్లు పెంచేస్తారు అనే టాక్ వినిపించింది.
దానికి తగినట్లే కల్కి సినిమాకు రేట్లు భయంకరంగా పెంచేసారు. కొన్ని చోట్ల నాలుగు వందలకు పైగా రేటు పెట్టారు. అయితే ఇప్పుడు ఇదే వికటించినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఈ టికెట్ రేట్లు పెంచడం మీద ప్రభుత్వానికి ఫీడ్ బ్యాక్ వెళ్లినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. దాంతో ఇకపై 50-75 కు మించి అదనపు రేట్లు ఇవ్వకూడదని ప్రభుత్వం సంబంధిత అధికారులకు అదేశాలు ఇచ్చినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. అంటే సింగిల్ స్క్రీన్ 50, మల్టీప్లెక్స్ లు 75 అదనపు రేటు అన్నమాట.
ఈ విషయంలొ సినిమా రంగంతో సంబంధాలున్న మంత్రి పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ కూడా స్ధిర నిశ్చయంతో వున్నారని తెలుస్తోంది. అదనపు రేట్లు ఎవరు అడిగానా ఇవ్వండి కానీ 50-75 కు మించి వద్దు, అది తన సినిమా అయినా సరే అని పవన్ అధికారులకు సూచించినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. కొన్నాళ్ల క్రితం సినిమా పెద్దలు పవన్ ను కలిసి వచ్చారు. టికెట్ రేట్ల మీద ఓ నిర్దిష్ట పాలసీ వుండాలని పవన్ అన్నారు. త్వరలో అది రూపొందిస్తారని తెలుస్తోంది.
కానీ ఇలా 50-75 అనే పద్దతిని ఫిక్స్ చేస్తే ప్రేక్షకులకు ఓకె. కానీ చాలా భారీ సినిమాల దోపిడీ సాగదేమో?
