తెలంగాణ ఎన్నికల సమయంలో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ విస్తృతంగా ప్రచారం చేసిన ధరణి వ్యవహారం భారాసను దెబ్బతీసినట్లుగానే, ల్యాండ్ టైటిలింగ్ యాక్ట్ గురించి ‘‘మీ ఆస్తులు మీవి కాకుండా పోతాయి’’ అనే నినాదంతో ప్రజలను చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు భయపెట్టిన తీరు ఆయనకు బాగా లభించింది. ఆస్తులకు సంబంధించిన విషయం అయ్యేసరికి ప్రజలు నిజంగానే భయపడి ఓట్లు వేశారు. ఆ తర్వాత అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన చంద్రబాబు ఆ చట్టాన్ని రద్దు చేశారు. దానికి క్యాబినెట్ ఆమోదం, శాసనసభ ఆమోదం కూడా లాంఛనంగా పూర్తయింది. ఇప్పుడు ఆ యాక్ట్ రద్దు అయిన సంగతిని విస్తృతంగా ప్రజల్లోకి తీసుకువెళ్లాలని చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు పార్టీ శ్రేణులకు మార్గదర్శనం చేస్తున్నారు.
నిజానికి ఎన్నికల ముందు ఇలాంటి ప్రచార ఎత్తుగడలకు పాల్పడడం అవసరం. ప్రజలను భయపెట్టో బతిమాల్లో మెప్పించొ మొత్తానికి అధికారంలోకి రావాలని తృష్ణ వారిలో ఉంటుంది. ఎన్నికలు ముగిసి చట్టం కూడా వచ్చేసిన తర్వాత ప్రజలకు ఆ సంగతి ఆటోమేటిగ్గా అర్థమవుతుంది. ఎవరూ ప్రత్యేకంగా ఇంటింటికి వచ్చి చెప్పాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు.
కానీ చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ల్యాండ్ టైటిలింగ్ యాక్ట్ రద్దు గురించి విస్తృతంగా ప్రజల్లోకి తీసుకు వెళ్లాలని, ప్రభుత్వంపై వైసీపీ చేస్తున్న విమర్శలను తిప్పికొట్టాలని పార్టీ శ్రేణులకు హితోపదేశం చేస్తున్నారు. ప్రజలకు అవగాహన కోసం ఇలా చేయాలని చెప్పడం మంచిదే గాని, తమ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రజల జీవితాలను ఉద్ధరించినట్లుగా టముకు వేసుకోవాలని ప్రయత్నిస్తే అది బెడిసి కొడుతుంది.
గతంలో జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి కూడా ఇంటింటికి ఎమ్మెల్యేలను తిప్పి ‘మా ప్రభుత్వం మీకు ఇన్నేసి లక్షలు ఇచ్చింది’ అని పదేపదే చెప్పించి, ప్రజలకు చిరాకు తెప్పించారు. అతి పబ్లిసిటీ విషయంలో చంద్రబాబునాయుడు కాస్త జాగ్రత్తలు పాటిస్తే ఆయనకే మంచిది.
