I agree partially. Suspending treaty can not harm anyone unless real actions are taken. It seems like a Government failure as there is no security in such a “best” tourist place at mid afternoon. However, we can’t turn whatever happened. The confidence we built in the last few years is gone now. Now is the time to retaliate.

There is a possibility that China can exploit the situation on river Brahmaputra and do same thing to us where whole north east can dry up. China does not have any treaty with India on rivers and they can do it with out any accountability. It is better give a thought and see what are long term consequences before taking any decisions.

Violating international agreements is not a good precedent and it can boomrang on us with China restricting the flow in Brahmaputra. Or tomorrow, Karnataka or Telengana restrict the flow the river flows to AP, saying that if international agreements are not respected, national agreements have no sanctity.

Stop this nonsense. It is better to take immediate action and stop water to Pakistan immediately. Let it go to international courts. China needs India at the moment than Pakistan. Action is needed not just suspension of an agreement. The strategy should be block from every corner and use this as as opportunity to invade pok. What is going to happen? War? Let it happen. Eradicate terrorism by pushing already in trouble pakustan. Modi ji , Dowal ji and Amit shah ji can do
