పవన్ కల్యాణ్ ఇప్పుడు ఎన్నికల్లో గెలిచి అధికారం రుచి చూడాలని అనుకుంటున్న ఔత్సాహిక రాజకీయ నాయకుడు కానే కాదు. ఆయన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రానికి డిప్యూటీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి. అధికారం కోసం ఆరాటపడే రోజుల్లో ప్రత్యర్థుల్ని బద్నాం చేయడానికి, తమకు సరికొత్త తరహా మైలేజీ సృష్టించుకోవడానికి నానారకాల చెత్త అవాకులు చెవాకులు పేలినా, అబద్ధాలు వల్లించినా చెల్లుతుంది. అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు. అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత కూడా ఇంకా అబద్ధాలతో, అర్థసత్యాలతో పని ఏముంది?

కానీ పవన్ కల్యాణ్ మాత్రం.. అర్థసత్యాలే తన జీవితం అన్నట్టుగా చెలరేగుతున్నారు. గురువారం సాయంత్రం తిరుపతిలో ఆయన వారాహి డిక్లరేషన్ అంటూ ప్రహసనప్రాయంగా సాగిన రోడ్ షో బహిరంగసభ ఆ విషయాన్నే గుర్తుచేసింది.

తిరుమల లడ్డూ ప్రసాదానికి వాడే నెయ్యి కల్తీ విషయమై పవన్ కల్యాణ్ ప్రాయశ్చిత్త దీక్ష చేశారు. 11 రోజుల తర్వాత స్వామిని దర్శించుకున్నారు. తిరుపతిలో సభ అన్నారు. అలాగని ఈ సభలో నెయ్యి కల్తీ సమస్యకు మాత్రమే ఆయన పరిమితం కాలేదు. ఎన్నికలకు ముందు కొన్ని నెలలనుంచి తన ప్రసంగాల్లో వాడుతూ ఉండిన పాచిపోయిన సంగతులన్నింటినీ.. ఆయన మళ్లీ నివేదించుకుంటూ వచ్చారు. తనను అవమానించారని, వాటిని సహించానని, తన కుటుంబాన్ని మాటలు అన్నా, వ్యక్తిగత విమర్శలు చేసినా పట్టించుకోలేదని.. ఇప్పుడు సనాతన ధర్మానికి అపచారం చేస్తే ఊరుకోనని.. చెప్పుకొచ్చారు.

ఇవన్నీ కూడా రాజకీయ గిమ్మిక్కులుగా అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు. చంద్రబాబు వంటి మర్రిచెట్టు నీడలో ఎదగకుండానే రాజకీయ జీవితం ముగిసిపోతుందేమోననే భయంలో బతికే ఒక సాధారణ ఔత్సాహిక నాయకుడి అస్తిత్వ భయంగా పరిగణించవచ్చు. కానీ అబద్ధాలు ఎందుకు చెప్పాలి.

పవన్ కల్యాణ్ ఇంకా శ్రీవాణి టికెట్ల గురించిన అబద్ధపు ప్రచారాల నుంచి బయటకు రానేలేదు. పదివేలకు టికెట్లు అమ్మి 500కు రసీదులు ఇచ్చారని ఆయన తన అజ్ఞానాన్ని ప్రదర్శిస్తున్నారు. నిజానికి ఆ సిస్టమ్ ఇప్పటికీ ఉంది. ఆ మాట కరెక్టుకాదు. 10వేలు విరాళం తీసుకుని, 500కు టికెట్లు అమ్మారు, అమ్ముతున్నారు కూడా.

అప్పట్లో వాలంటీర్లు విమెన్ ట్రాఫికింగ్ కు పాల్పడుతున్నారంటూ.. ఒక అబద్ధపు ప్రచారంతో తన రాజకీయ జీవితానికి మెట్లు వేసుకున్న పవన్ కల్యాణ్.. లడ్డూ వ్యవహారం కూడా అలాగే వాడుకుంటున్నారు. నెయ్యి కల్తీ విషయంలో దోషులు తప్పించుకోవడం జరగదు. ఈలోగా తనకు రాగల మైలేజీ మిస్ కాకూడదని ఆయన ఆరాటపడుతున్నారు.

    Perhaps you, or your family, may have converted to another faith, but your forebears were undoubtedly Hindus. Is there no sense of shame in disregarding this heritage?
