చిరంజీవి వినోదం అనుకున్నారు. కానీ కొంతమంది దాన్ని వివాదం చేశారు. మరీ ముఖ్యంగా ఫెమినిస్టులు కస్సుమన్నారు. “ఇంట్లో ఉంటే లేడీస్ హాస్టల్ లో ఉన్నట్టుందని, తనకు అర్జెంట్ గా ఓ మనవడు కావాలంటూ..” చిరంజీవి చేసిన ప్రకటన మహిళా సమాజాన్ని భగ్గుమనేలా చేసింది.
లెగసీని కొనసాగించేది వారసుడేనా, వారసురాలికి ఆ హక్కు లేదా అంటూ చాలామంది కొత్త రాగం అందుకున్నారు. చిరంజీవి లాంటి పెద్ద మనిషి కూడా లింగబేధం చూడడం బాధాకరమంటూ సన్నాయి నొక్కులు నొక్కుతున్నారు.
చివరికి ఈ వివాదం జాతీయ మీడియాకు కూడా ఎక్కింది. ‘చిరంజీవి సెక్సిస్ట్ కామెంట్స్’ అంటూ పెద్దపెద్ద బ్రేకింగ్ న్యూస్ లతో జాతీయ మీడియా ఈ వివాదాన్ని హైలెట్ చేస్తోంది. మరో ఛానెల్ అయితే ‘సెక్సిస్ట్ సూపర్ స్టార్’ అంటూ బ్యానర్ కట్టింది.
మహిళా కమిషన్ సభ్యులు, ఫెమినిస్టులతో డిస్కషన్లు నడిపిస్తున్నాయి జాతీయ ఛానెళ్లు. మీడియా ప్రతినిధులతో ఫోన్-ఇన్లు తీసుకుంటూ.. స్థానిక నేతలను రెచ్చగొడుతూ గంటల కొద్దీ ప్రసారాలు చేస్తున్నాయి.
నిజానికి చిరంజీవి ఉద్దేశం మహిళల్ని కించపరచడం కాదు. ఆల్రెడీ ఇంట్లో చాలామంది అమ్మాయిలున్నారు కాబట్టి, ఈసారి అబ్బాయి పుడితే బావుంటుందనేది ఆయన ఉద్దేశం. ప్రజారాజ్యమే రూపాంతరం చెంది జనసేనలా మారినట్టు.. చిరంజీవి మనసులో ఉన్న ఓ మాట రూపాంతరం చెంది బయటకు మరోలా వచ్చింది.

This exactly why a persons entire life needs to be scanned before they are made eligible for awards or recognitions. Sadly, such recognitions and awards are granted for political benefits ignoring merits.
Exactly same applies to a politician. ఒక రాజకీయ నాయకుడు ప్రజలకు సేవ చేయటానికి వాళ్ళ జీవన ప్రమాణాలు వృద్ధి చేయటానికి రాష్ట్రాన్ని అభివృద్ది పథంలో నడిపించటానికి ప్రయత్నించాలి కానీ, తనకు పేరు రావటానికి తన ఫోటో ప్రతి ఇంట్లో ఉండేలా చేయటానికి అమాయక పేద ప్రజల నిస్సహాయతను ఆసరాగా చేసుకొని అప్పులు చేసి బటన్ నొక్కి తన ఇష్టానికి వచ్చినట్టు అర్హత అనేది చూడకుండా పంచుకుంటూ పోతూ రాష్ట్రాన్ని అప్పుల పాలు చేసే ఒక అసమర్డున్ని ఎన్నుకోవటం ఎంతవరకు సమంజసం రాజా?

That so called person you have mentioned in your comment has given a manifesto before elections in which he detailed his welfare schemes to which people respomded favorably and voted him to power and he had fulfilled the promises he made which is not wrong. If people were averse to such policies, they would not have voted him to power.
If you want to apply the words I said to politicians then you must look at the character of the politician who stands by his commitment to people irrespective of the result. Politicians who cheat people with their promises or who spread hate with fake allegations will never be remembered in history.
You might be interested in caste but I care about character rather than caste. To me standing by their word is the most important character that a politician need to have.
If giving welfare schemes to the needy is a wrong thing, why did you support alliance partners manifesto that promised more schemes in the name of super six? Why did you not question about this and refrained from voting to alliance? Now, after the same helpless people voted alliance to power, believing that you are committed to implementing the promised schemes, you make such unreasonable comments to justify your cheating. People like you will not be remembered by history and if it has to then it will remember such people as politicians but not as leaders.
